The advantage of applying the Care for Sensitive Lips beforehand is that it will serve as a make-up base for your lipstick and help it apply more easily. The trick is to ensure it absorbs well by pressing your lips together. If you think you've applied too much, blot your lips on a tissue just before applying your lipstick. Applying the balm afterwards is great if your lips are dry during the day, especially with certain lipstick textures: matte red, long-wearing formulas... in this case, to restore softness to the lips without removing too much colour, apply it in a bitten-lip fashion, i.e. from the centre towards the edges.
The Care for Sensitive Lips is completely transparent and can be used by both men and women.
To soothe and repair your lips quickly, apply a compress of Avène thermal spring water for 10 minutes and apply Cicalfate Lip Balm, morning and evening to boost healing. During the day, continue to apply Care for Sensitive Lips.
