Once or twice a week is a good frequency, but if your skin is dehydrated or more sensitive, you can apply it more frequently and even up to once a day. For an even more soothing effect, you can apply a compress of Avène Thermal Spring Water beforehand, a treatment that is highly prescribed at the Avène Hydrotherapy Centre and that gives excellent results.

If your skin is particularly sensitive and dehydrated, you can apply a small amount of the Tolérance EXTREME emulsion or moisturiser after the mask.

By spraying your face with Avène Thermal Spring Water and tapping with your fingertips, you will rehydrate the mask and it will be easier to remove.
